Free agency is ongoing in the NFL.
While the contracts can’t be officially signed until tomorrow, deals have been made throughout the league since the period of legal tampering began at noon Monday in the East. Things started off slow for the Jets yesterday afternoon but picked up in the evening. News broke that the team had agreed to terms with Titans wide receiver Corey Davis. Shortly after, this news broke that Carl Lawson, the Bengals’ rider, agreed to sign with the team. Both players present themselves as substantial upgrades to important positions of need.
The Jets also agreed to contracts with Lions linebacker Jarrad Davis and re-signed running back Josh Adams.
What will the team do today? Will there be more additions, or will the Jets now wait for some of the dust to settle and look for some bargains?
I don’t know the answer, but I know how to find it. The GGN Twitter widget is embedded below with free agency day updates.
