“How have traditions in general really helped your family? Because now you and President Biden are on a date… you have dinner every night?” Clarkson asked Biden.

The first lady replied: “He’s so busy, I’m so busy, but we keep dinner. We have dinner together, no phones – the phones must be off – and now we are having dinner in this beautiful house, and there is a fireplace in the dining room, and they light the fire, and we sit and talk for a while. “

“And then he has to go back to work at night, and I’m jotting down papers,” Biden said.

The first lady told Clarkson that in addition to the nightly dates, she and the President strive to continue dining with all of their family members on Sunday evenings.
