In an interview with Biden which aired on Clarkson’s syndicated talk show Thursday, February 25, the First Lady offered heartwarming advice on continuing to break up a relationship to the singer, who is currently divorcing from her former husband. The socially distant conversation in the East Room also included Clarkson singing one of Dr. Biden’s favorite songs, the Youngbloods’ 1967 anthem, “Get Together.”
They also discussed the more fierce side of Biden, like when the Philadelphia native jumped in to protect her husband when someone rushed him onto stage at a campaign event in 2020, the importance of balancing work and motherhood, as well as why and how a darling Biden wore has recently become a trending topic on Twitter.
