Outside the city for work, Jim shared an update on the status of his marriage with the old Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds and labeled his betrayal as "a weak moment."
"We are doing well," he told TMZ.
"I do not know if it's crazy enough in this world that people can invent stories about you and then hide behind their anonymity," he continued.
The news of Jim's affair was the subject of a first interview earlier this week and soon after, Jim insisted on Us Weekly so that she and his wife do not engage physically, well that sources close to it insist that they had sex. That said, Meghan was naturally distraught and turned to her website to share her thoughts about her husband's affair.
"You try to [stay strong in the limelight]. You try to do your best, "said Jim, adding that he was" sorry "and" had made a mistake ".
"We're just going to have to get out," he said about his marriage to Meghan.
Then, when asked what he planned to do to show Meghan, the mother of his three youngest children, that he was still dedicated to their wedding, he said, "I do not know. I'm just going to have to deal with it. "
In Meghan's blog, she confirmed that she was open to reconciliation with Jim after criticizing him for not honoring their wishes.
"I wanted a strong marriage. I am as faithful as they come and I wanted the wishes we had made during the exchange of our rings to be taken into account, "she wrote. "Now, my alliance symbolizes fraud," she continued. "I did not do anything wrong, I do not deserve that. I did not do anything except being pregnant with our twins and trying to have a healthy pregnancy. I refuse to be humiliated by this. I am a victim, but I am not defined by this. "
"In the end, I hope our marriage will be able to recover," added Meghan.
