After delivering both Uniform clarity and Uniform distortion Last year, Jim James of My Morning Jacket announced a new album alongside Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra.

titled The order of natureJames's latest comes Oct. 18 to Decca Gold. Nine tracks in length, the album features new and previously released songs from James as well as an orchestral accompaniment.

The order of nature will also arrive next to a three-part accompaniment documentary that details the making of the album. You can watch an excerpt from this clip below, where you will also find a cut album "Set It to Song".

"The central idea for me is to try to think about the fact that nature does not know how to hate," James said in a press release. "Humans are obviously part of nature, but why do we have this thing called hate and how do we get rid of it?" "We fight nature and think we can defeat nature, but we commit suicide and kill the planet "

James and his members of the band My Morning Jacket recently treated their first album, The fire of Tennessee, to a birthday reissue.
