It’s almost as if Jimmy Kimmel is having more fun making jokes at Donald Trump’s expense now that he’s no longer President than he did when he was still in office.
After taking his post-presidential body “bowl of mashed potatoes in pants” earlier this month, the late-night host turned to the bizarre speech on China, Iran on Monday. and the 2020 election that Trump unleashed at an unsuspecting wedding party at his resort town of Mar-a-Lago over the weekend.
“One of his slash friends club donors got married in Mar-a-Lago on Saturday and the former president had nice words for the bride and groom,” Kimmel said before playing a clip of the Trump’s messy rant. “You know what? I said the same thing at my brother’s wedding,” the host added. “It was word for word.”
“I like it so much,” he continued. “Look at the group behind him as he goes on and continues to say how awesome he was. They’re like, ‘Can we play’ Dancing Queen ‘and get the hell out of here?’ ‘
“It’s a wedding! It’s a wedding! Kimmel was amazed. “I was a DJ at weddings when I was in college. I’ve seen weird toast, I’ve never seen one like this. How do you give a drunken wedding toast when you’re not even drinking ?!
Finally, after sharing the clip of Trump showing how little he understands how voting works, Kimmel told viewers, “He’s doing what he’s doing now. He babbles at weddings. He’s complaining. Every time someone plays the song “YMCA”, it magically appears Beetlejuice. He therefore ended the speech by asking the guests to violently storm the buffet table.
