With Star Wars: Episode IX Turning now to post-production, filmmaker J.J. Abrams revealed if the reaction of fans to the previous film, The last Jedi, affected the production of the sequel.
While attending an event on the red carpet, Abrams, who directed and co-wrote Episode IX, was asked if his latest film was informed by the mixed response to Rian Johnson's film.

"No, I think every film is his own movie, and obviously it's a trilogy," Abrams observed in an interview with Entertainment tonight. "We brought to[[[[Episode IX]all the passion and hard work we would have, no matter what. So, I think the story speaks for itself. I really can not wait for you to see it. "
Main photography on the future Star wars The film was officially wrapped up last week after seven months of filming. While LucasFilm remains unobtrusive about the film, it was reported last year that the sequel would be a "course correction" for the franchise after the split response to The last Jedi and Solo: A story of Star Wars.

Grant. The film should open on December 20th.
