Biden had often made her previous comments to the passive voice, for example: "I'm sorry that she was treated as she was." Hill said the explanations avoided "her role in what "It has passed." "I'm sorry, she was treated as she was treated," Biden said in "The View". "I would have liked to find a better way to get things done, I did everything to do what I thought was right."
The View co-host, Joy Behar, emphasized what Biden could have said.
"I think what she wants is that you say," I'm sorry for the way I treated you, "not for the way you were treated," said Behar at Biden. "I think it could be closer."

Hill did not immediately respond to a request for comment regarding Biden's latest apology.
