Joe Burrow hospitalized with bruised throat after Bengals’ Week 5 loss to Packers

Joe Burrow was rushed to hospital shortly after the Bengals’ overtime loss to the Packers, the team announced. The Bengals quarterback suffers from a bruised throat. Burrow has trouble speaking, according to Kelsie Conway of Enquirer Sports, and he did not speak to the media after the game.

It is not yet clear when Burrow specifically suffered the injury, but the Bengals quarterback has spent time in the team’s medical tent. after being hit by several defenders of the Packers at the end of the first half.
