The Steelers are still waiting for contract negotiations with Joe Hadenbut the cornerback hopes that something will come true with a new deal before the start of the regular season.
Drew RosenhausHaden's agent was present in the team's 17-7 win in pre-season against the Chiefs last Saturday night. But Haden did not take part in the match. He injured his foot after being stomped two weeks ago at St. Vincent College's training camp.

The Steelers would like to sign a contract with the 30-year-old cornerback, which will extend it beyond this season and reduce its $ 11.9 million cap. Haden is in the final season of a $ 27 million three-year contract signed with the Steelers in 2017 after being released by the Browns.
