Joe Jonas admitted that his parents had learned of the existence of his marriage to Sophie Turner in Las Vegas on the Internet.
In a recent interview with SiriusXM's Hits1, the singer revealed that he had not warned Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas before tying in May.
"They discovered it online," he said. "Well, in my mind, it was the legal part of the marriage, so I thought," Look, it's not the most important day. "It's an important day, I mean, I'm going to stay private, but in front of us, so we were like it was just the one who was in town."
He also admitted that he had to solve the problem with his parents after having informed them by members of their staff.
"They have an amazing restaurant in North Carolina and I think two or three of their staff came up and said," Congratulations! I saw it. "And then they had to find out," he said. "So, I often apologized saying," Hey, you want to go see LA? I had four spas at Four Seasons. "
The couple's official wedding day would be held this summer overseas. People report that the wedding will take place in France.
