Joey King Headlines New Pair Of Paramount + Films Including The In Between

Joey King is set to headline a new pair of movies destined for the Paramount + streaming service, including The In Between and another installment in the Paranormal Activity franchise.

In The In Between, the 21-year-old appears alongside actor Kyle Allen. According to the studio, she plays a teenage girl who, “ after surviving a car crash that claimed the life of her boyfriend, thinks he’s trying to reconnect with her from the afterlife. ”

Arie Posin directs the film with Marc Klein as screenwriter.

The Golden Globe-nominated actress will also appear in the Paranormal Activity franchise, which grossed $ 890 million at the box office.

The streaming service has announced that it will add three or four original movies to its slate each year, Deadline reported, as it also has a prequel in the Pet Sematary franchise along the way.

King is currently in a relationship with producer Steven Piet, as she has seen since they worked together on The Act.

She was previously in a romance with Jacob Elordi, who she would continue to work with after their split, on The Kissing Booth 2 last year.

“No one is thinking, ‘It was easy’ because it wasn’t,” she told Cosmopolitan last year. “I’m sure people will analyze every move and every detail.

‘And you know what? Leave them. But at the end of the day, I was just so happy to be Elle Evans again.

She said of the character, “ She Evans needs her Noah Flynn, and whatever that means for my personal life, I will do anything to make sure that my character story that is so close to my heart is complete. ”
