But how are we going to see it?

Update 4/17: Justin Kroll, the Variety journalist who originally broke this story, added some details about Twitter.

Kroll claims that Cena's role in the negotiations was originally for Dave Bautista of the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is consistent with an earlier rumor. However, the busy work schedule of Bautista would have forced him to pass the role. Kroll also believes, but can not possibly confirm, that this role is for Peacemaker.

The original story follows.

The reports indicate that wrestler and actor John Cena is in talks to join The Suicide Squad, and that Margot Robbie is about to come back under the name of Harley Quinn.

Sources told Variety about John Cena's potential involvement, without knowing which character he could play. Hoping he will have the power of invisibility.

The report also said Robbie will definitely be back as Harley Quinn and Jai Courtney will be back as captain Boomerang. Although early statements said Robbie would not come back, later reports suggested that she would be back for the rest, after all.

Cena recently played in Bumblebee and Trainwreck in addition to his growing list of dubbing in Ferdinand and Surf's Up 2.

Recent reports have indicated that Idris Elba would play a new character as opposed to Deadshot out of respect for Will Smith, and Courtney himself claimed that he would come back as Captain Boomerang.

Suicide brigade to be released August 6, 2021
