John Legend and Chrissy Teigen suffered a devastating miscarriage a few months ago, which left them in shock for days.
Opening up on the heartbreaking experience, Legend and his model wife recently gave their first interview.
Talk on Good Morning America, Teigen said, “Every day is so different. When people ask me how I’m doing, I say, ‘I’m fine today.'”
The caption added that he didn’t realize that they could both “feel grief and share it”.
He then revealed why they took the heartbreaking monochrome photos in the hospital after learning they had miscarried.
“When we did it, it really meant a lot to so many people. I’m just grateful that my wife had the courage to do it. … One of the ways we could keep Jack’s memory alive was to take pictures of that moment. I was worried, like, I don’t want to commemorate this pain … [but the photos are] something to remember him, ”revealed the singer.
Meanwhile, Teigen said, “I experienced it, I chose to do it, and more than anything, these photos are not meant for anyone but people who have been through this or who are curious enough to look. ask what something like this looks like.
“These photos are only for people who need them. The thoughts of others don’t matter to me, ”she added.
