John Lynch indicated this week that the 49ers will be revamping their quarterback corps for the 2021 season, but that won’t involve knocking down Jimmy Garoppolo from first place.
The 49ers general manager didn’t hesitate when asked if he had any doubts that Garoppolo, if he wasn’t injured at the time, will be the quarterback of the team in September.
“No, not at all,” Lynch said. “I really believe it.”
His comments came on the “The Eye Test for Two” podcast with Clark Judge and Ira Kaufman, both Pro Football Hall of Fame voters who started the segment by talking about Lynch.
