Beloved comedian John Mulaney is said to have completed his 60-day stint in rehab. In December 2020, Mulaney admitted to a drug rehab center in Pennsylvania to seek treatment for her alcohol and cocaine problems, which was greeted with a surge of support from her colleagues in the community of comedy as well as its fans. Page six reports that Mulaney has completed her stay in rehab, “is doing well” and will continue her sobriety work on an outpatient basis. Before enrolling in rehab, Mulaney temporarily joined the editorial staff of Late Night with Seth Meyers, intervening to discuss ghost interference in the 2020 election and the royal family. Mulaney revealed he took the job from his old one SNL buddy show in part because it has helped her sanity and well-being. “I really needed a job,” Mulaney told Jimmy Kimmel. “I like having a boss and having assignments to do. When I’m in charge of something, it’s not really the best thing. Although Mulaney is doing well, he is apparently not ready to get back to work at this point. “John finished 60 days in rehab and now he’s in sober outpatient care,” the source said. Page six. He’s fine, although he’s still not ready to return to work.
