John Travolta, 66, took a moment over Thanksgiving to thank his family, friends and Instagram followers.

“I just wanted to take this moment to thank each of you for supporting me in such an incredible way this year,” Travolta said in a video posted to Instagram on Thursday.

“Happy Thanksgiving and always loving,” the “Grease” actor continued, with a slight smile in the self-facing clip.

Travolta received support from his supporters in the comments section.

Her daughter, Ella Travolta, 20, commented on a series of heart emojis below the video.

And actor Kevin Connolly called Travolta “The Goat” – an often-used shorthand for “the greatest of all time”.

Donnie Wahlberg added “you are a kind soul”.

Fans also commented, wishing Travolta a Happy Thanksgiving and sending him “lots of love.”

This isn’t the first time Travolta has shared an emotional moment on Instagram this year.

Travolta’s late wife, Kelly Preston, died aged 57 after a battle with breast cancer earlier this year.

Travolta wrote a sentimental Instagram post on July 13, confirming his 28-year-old wife has passed away.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” wrote Travolta, 66. “She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many people.

“Kelly’s love and life will be forever remembered,” Travolta wrote, saying he was planning to take time off “to be there for my children who lost their mothers. So forgive me in advance. if you don’t hear us for a while. But please know that I will be feeling your outpouring of love in the weeks and months to come as we heal. “

He took a break from Instagram before returning in late August to share a short video of him dancing with Ella.

“My daughter @ ella.travolta and I are dancing in memory of mom,” Travolta captioned in the cute video. “One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me.”

The couple had three children – daughter Ella, and sons Benjamin, 9, and Jett, who died at 16 in January 2009 after suffering a seizure while the family was on vacation in the Bahamas.
