John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum was screened for members of the press before the film's release on May 17, 2019 and their initial reactions can now be shared with the world.

The response has been very positive, with many claiming that this is what makes the John Wick franchise remarkable and that, perhaps most importantly, there are more good dogs.

Here is our summary of the first reactions to John Wick 3:

Terri Schwartz of IGN John Wick 3 had some problems with storytelling and character decisions, but enjoyed the foolish battles, the emphasis on tradition and the larger number of dogs mentioned above.

Jim Vejvoda of IGN assures fans of the franchise that John Wick 3 is "jam-packed with inventive settings and brutal murders, while offering new facets to the intricate tradition of the underground world that franchise fans have come to love."

Steven Weintraub, The editor of Collider.com praised scenes "so crazy that you wonder how director Chad Stahelski and his team filmed them."

Mike Rougeau Gamespot does not know how much this movie really adds to the franchise, but reassures that it's more about John Wick, who's never a bad thing.

Ethan Alter, Senior editor for Yahoo Entertainment, says a scene presents discarded knives and that's "pretty much the biggest thing ever." He was afraid that the movie would reach its climax, but fortunately he was wrong

Hoai-Tran Bui of / Film believes that John Wick 3 is "a lean and exhilarating story full of breathtaking, breathtaking activities and even a few laughs".

Mike Ryan, Editor-in-Chief in the entertainment field for Uproxx, did not like John Wick's first two films, but he thought it was "rather impressive".

Vinnie Mancuso, Collider's deputy editor, I can not even say how "good dogs are in # JohnWick3."

Scott Mendelson Forbes thinks that John Wick 2 is a "best" movie, but that John Wick 3 is "completely entertaining and a live video game".

Michael Reyes from CinemaBlend says that Keanu Reeves has again raised the stunt bar and is eager to see the future of this franchise.

Brent Goldman FilmInquiry believes that John Wick 3 is "the action at its best" and that it could include the killing of his favorite franchise Keanu Reeves.

Courtney Howard, A Variety writer, TheWrap, and so much more, thinks John Wick 3 is a "breathtaking, breathtaking and breathtaking killer". She loved "every stellar minute."
