Upcoming anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean revealed a new trailer and a new visual in addition to information on his debut and cast!
The anime is slated to premiere worldwide from December 2021, exclusively through Netflix.
The following main actors have been confirmed: Tamura Mutsumi as Ermes Costello, Mariya Ise as Foo Fighters, Atsumi Tanezaki as Emporio Alnino, Yuichiro Umehara as Weather Report and Daisuke Namikawa as Narciso Anasui. They will join Fairouz Ai as Jolyne Cujoh. Daisuke Ono will also return to reprise the role of Jotaro Kujo.
Netflix describes the story of the anime as follows:
Florida, USA, 2011. After a car accident with her boyfriend, Jolyne Cujoh falls into a trap and is sentenced to fifteen years. She is sent to the state-run maximum security correctional facility, Green Dolphin Street Jail, aka “The Aquarium.” On the verge of despair, she receives a pendant from her father which awakens a mysterious power within her. “There are things in this world that are more terrifying than death, and what goes on in this prison is certainly part of it.” A message from a mysterious boy who appears in front of Jolyne, inexplicable events that follow one another, the horrible truth his father tells him when he comes to visit him, and the name DIO … will Jolyne finally be freed from this stone the ocean they call a prison? The final battle to end the fateful century-long clash between the Joestar family and DIO begins!
