Jon Bernthal officially joined Ghost Recon: Wildlands in two free DLC missions, launched yesterday. In addition, Ghost Recon: Wildlands Everyone will be able to play for free (as long as you have Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus) for the entire weekend.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands First launched in 2017, and while it was considered a disappointment by some at the time of its release, Ubisoft has continued to add new content to the game and has benefited from a relatively stable and dedicated player base. This included everything from new PvE missions based on stories to short-term missions called "Special Operations" regularly published. Ubisoft officially revealed the title and inclusion of Bernthal as star of their last Ghost Recon: Wildlands Missions of special operations. The two new missions, which will be available for free for all players, will be called Oracle Operation and will focus on the character of the player called for an extraction mission. Thanks to Ubisoft, which also allows everyone to play the game for free all weekend, Ghost Recon: Wildlands could very well see a big boost in launching the Oracle operation.
As for Bernthal, Walker's character is quite in his place as an actor, especially his role in The punisher as the main character Frank Castle. Although the series was canceled by Netflix (like all Marvel members on the popular streaming network), critics and fans also hailed Bernthal's performance as a violent, blood-soaked antihero. In a certain way, fans can think of its inclusion as a similar character in Ghost Recon: Wildlands as a consolation prize for the third season that will probably never happen (or at least not in the next few years).
