Favreau has already confirmed that Boba Fett would not appear in this first season of The mandalorian, but that could still include some sort of tease that Boba Fett is still alive without the character actually appearing. It would be a great way to get to the second season, in which Favreau is already working, even though he has not yet received an official order from Disney and Lucasfilm.
These coming Star wars I hope that the broadcasts will continue to expand the reach of the galaxy very far, allowing Lucasfilm to tell a wider variety of stories that might not be suitable for the big screen.
