Jonathan Rhys Meyers was arrested for DUI on Sunday after getting into a car crash in Malibu, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed to Page Six.

Only Meyers, 43, was in the car at the time of the crash, but police determined Meyers appeared to be intoxicated and issued a field field sobriety test, which he failed.

The “Tudors” star was arrested and jailed for DUI. He has since been released.

A representative for Meyers did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Meyers’ wife Mara Lane appeared to allude to her husband’s DUI on Instagram on Tuesday when she posted videos of their son, Wolf, playing with Meyers in the pool.

“I think since so many of our lowlights seem to find their way around the web, it’s right to share happy moments so that when Wolf is older he can search / find / see / remember the happy ones,” he said. – she captioned the video.

Meyers has struggled with alcohol abuse for years. After getting sober, the “The Cuisine War” actor relapsed in 2017 after Lane’s miscarriage.

In 2018, Meyers was arrested following a “domestic dispute” with his wife on an American Airlines flight.
