Jordan argues smoothing out voting irregularities ‘important’, 72 million Trump voters concerned

Even after House Republicans knocked down 10 seats in the 2020 election, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told “Sunday Morning Futures” that it was crucial to investigate possible voting irregularities.

Jordan said the GOP had presented “good candidates”, especially female Congress candidates. But although Trump won 10 million more votes than in 2016, the president should have failed in the Electoral College vote.

The senior member of the House Judiciary Committee said nearly 73 million Americans need to be assured that any irregularities will be taken seriously.

“It’s important to know exactly what happened in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, all of those key swing states,” he said.

As multiple investigations unfolded, Jordan suggested that Trump’s legal team allow the electoral process to “unfold” while asking key questions such as why some states and counties allowed certain voting and voting restrictions. others don’t.
