CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Indians placed themselves in third base on the 10-day injured list after they broke their right hand during Saturday's game.

He left the game after the first run.

With two outs, Ramirez committed a 2-0 foul of right-handed Glenn Sparkman and immediately bent.

The Indians said that he had fractured his leg in his right hand.

The Indians brought Yu Chang from the Columbus Clippers to replace Ramirez.
