If there is a list of things that NFL teams do not want their leading players to do during the off season, jumping over very angry bulls is probably pretty high on the list.
Unfortunately for the Washington Redskins, Josh Norman spends his summer apparently doing just that. The cornerback of the All-Pro has posted a video this week showing him not only to run with the bulls in Pamplona, but also to exceed them literally.
If you are on the Internet long enough, it's the kind of ridiculous show that will make you wonder if the video is real or not. Why would a sensible person jump over a bull, not to mention a professional athlete having a lot to lose?
But the video is apparently real and Norman has happily managed to make the jump without hurting himself or his prospects for the upcoming football season. Everyone can breathe easily now.
It seems that Norman had fun and made the most of his experience.
"I had to face the bull," Norman said after his feat on Instagram. "It was fun, it was worth it, it was worth it."
I guess we'll have to wait and see if the Redskins also think it's "well worth it". Something tells me that they may want to fine tune the wording of his contract so that he does not try to stalemate on this stalemate after that.
