BOZEMAN, Mount. – Journey Church will not organize an Easter egg hunt this year after 13 years of tradition.

Last year, thousands of people gathered at the Bobcat stadium to collect covered eggs across the field, but this will not be the case this year.

On the Journey Church website, it is reported that the hunt was first launched more than a decade ago to show the community that Journey loves and serves them.

The pastor went on to say that the church was thinking and decided not to organize the hunt but to look for other ways to love and serve the community.

The Bozeman Parks and Recreation Department will host an egg hunt at 1 pm Saturday, April 20 at Lindley Park.
