JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington TD show how to beat the cover

The Pittsburgh Steelers had an amazing day at the office on Sunday night when they went to Tennessee and beat the Titans 18-6. The night could not have gone better if you had prepared it yourself.

No serious injuries.

The starters played almost a quarter, if not more, to eliminate rust.

Big games were played on both sides of the ball.

Domination of offensive and defensive lines.

I could go on, but I think you have the picture. But find these two great games. In particular, receptions of the touch by JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington.

At the Smith-Schuster touchdown, Ben Roethlisberger did a remarkable job of reading their blanket and started a strike on Smith-Schuster. But talk about taking advantage of the poor performance of the cornerback. Smith-Schuster had the option of going to the post, or flag, to the road and the corner half lined it up. The result? Landing.

Regarding the landing in Washington, there were serious misunderstandings in the deep secondary of this room. Nevertheless, Mason Rudolph recognizes that Washington has no influence on defense, but he exploits it.

Check out NFL Network Analyst Brian Baldinger:

The biggest difference lies in the appearance so far of the pre-season that the Steelers have taken advantage of these mistakes. Last year, Roethlisberger knocked down many receivers and some collectors managed to knock him down. But until this pre-season the offense seems to be clicking at the right time.

Is this the prelude to something big in 2019? Will the Steelers be able to take advantage of the success they had during the pre-season and postpone it to the regular season? History tells us that this success means very little, but it certainly does not hurt. Think of what Titans fans are feeling today watching Marcus Mariota and Ryan Tannehill being beaten on the football field for a football half.

The Steelers will not answer any hot questions in the pre-season, but they have certainly eased fans' worries about the potential of games that really matter.
