Jurassic World Evolution 2 releases in November

On November 9, you’ll have another chance not to terrorize a lot of tourists with your giant lizard attractions, because that’s when Jurassic World Evolution 2 comes out. The Frontier Developments Dinosaur Park Management Simulation Sequel looks a lot like the original, but this one will let you build your parks all over the world with lots of new dinosaurs.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 was first announced just a few months ago at E3, where actor Jeff Goldblum revealed he would be lending his voice to the game, along with his Jurassic World film co-star, Bryce Dallas Howard.

The game’s campaign follows the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie, where players will create parks around the world to care for wild dinosaurs. There’s also a new mode in the sequel, called Chaos Theory, which will take players to great moments from each of the movies and let them decide what to do. I wonder if you can end the game there and then just choose not to do dangerous science on killer lizards.

Speaking of devils, there will be 75 species of dinosaurs to bring to your parks, including returning ones as well as new flying and sea creatures. You can also customize them with bioengineering, as we haven’t learned anything from a movie series about the bad things that happen when bioengineering dinosaurs. Nothing!

Nate is hoping Jurassic World Evolution 2 will just let him build a nice and peaceful dinosaur park, and I’m here with him. Honestly, I would prefer there were no dinosaur parks, but I clearly can’t have it, so peaceful seems like a good compromise.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is slated for release on November 9 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox and PlayStation.
