Justin Bieber wants “a less lonely girl” – and a guy, and everyone in between – in the world.
The 26-year-old pop star announced on Friday the release of her sixth studio album “Justice” on social media, along with a long dedication to all the “people who feel helpless” around the world in 2021.
The “Anyone” singer darkly addressed fans in a Twitter thread.
“At a time when there are so many issues with this broken planet, we all yearn for healing and justice for humanity,” said Bieber, who married Hailey Baldwin in 2018. “In creating this album, my goal is to make music that will comfort, create songs that people can relate to and connect with so they feel less alone ”, he posted.
“Suffering, injustice and pain can leave people feeling helpless. Music is a great way to remember that we are not alone. Music can be a way to communicate with each other and connect with each other. “
“Justice,” released on March 19, is slated to feature Bieber’s three most recent singles, including “Holy” with Chance the Rapper and “Lonely” with Benny Blanco. No other details about the album or additional collaborators have been announced.
Despite Bieber’s declaration of goodwill, his spiritual mutuals have come under close scrutiny by the media and law enforcement. Last year, it was revealed that Bieber’s religious confidant, former Pastor Carl Lentz, had been ousted from the Starry Church in Hillsong where he preached on “moral failures” – adultery among them.
Bieber subsequently distanced himself from his longtime pal – and the man who baptized him in 2015 – and proclaimed in January that the Hillsong world congregation is “NOT MY CHURCH.”
Nonetheless, Bieber’s tweets related to “Justice” suggest he is navigating his own unique path to enlightenment.
“I know I can’t just solve injustice by making music, but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet and each other, we are that much closer. to be united, ”he continued in his message to fans.
“I’m doing a small game. My part. I want to continue the conversation about what justice looks like so that we can continue to heal. “
