In a new behind-the-scenes video, Justin Bieber and Colin Tilley, the director of his “Anyone” music video, have pulled the curtain back and revealed what romantic comedy Bieber compares his latest video to.
“I’ve always wanted to make a boxing video, and it made sense that this song would be an ’80s power ballad,” Bieber wrote in the Vevo Footnotes music video titled “The Making of’ Anyone ‘.”
Even though the 1960s-inspired music video has made many comparisons to critically acclaimed boxing films such as Rocky and Creed, which served as key references, there is one movie in particular that he compares the sentiment of the song to.
