Justin Fields took over as quarterback from the Chicago Bears on Sunday after Andy Dalton left the field with a knee injury.

Dalton appeared to twist his left knee when he planted at the end of a first-half run against the Cincinnati Bengals. He limped all the way to the sideline and Fields briefly took his place to lead the Chicago offense.

Dalton ran on the sidelines and returned to the field for the Bears’ next possession. But he went to the locker room at the end of the first half, and the Bears announced he suffered a knee injury and was questionable to return. Fields then resumed the Chicago offense before halftime with the Bears in the lead, 7-0.

Fields stayed in the game to start the second half.
