Justin Timberlake has confirmed that he and his wife, Jessica Biel, welcomed their second child over the summer – a son named Phineas.

The singer, 39, told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her talk show, which airs Monday afternoon.

“He’s awesome and so cute. No one is sleeping,” Timberlake gushes in the preview clip. “But we’re thrilled. We’re thrilled and couldn’t be happier. Very grateful.”

DeGeneres said she is one of the few close friends of the family to hear about this exciting news.

The couple could have kept the pregnancy a secret during the pandemic as they spent most of their time in Montana with their eldest son, Silas, 5.

Timberlake said Silas was “super excited” to become an older brother.

“Right now, he likes her a lot,” the actor / producer revealed. “Phin can’t walk or chase him yet, so we’ll see what happens.”

In April 2018, Biel told Entertainment Tonight that she hoped to expand her family.

“The kids are amazing. They’re really tough, but they’re really amazing,” she said. “I think it would be amazing to have a bigger family. I don’t know if this is planned for us, we’ll see.”
