Justin Timberlake has finally confirmed that he and his wife Jessica Biel welcomed their second child this summer – a son named Phineas.
The 39-year-old star opened up about life as a father of two during a virtual appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which airs Monday.
“He’s awesome and so cute. Nobody sleeps, ”Timberlake joked. “But we are delighted. We are delighted and could not be happier. Very grateful.”
Reports from July said Biel, 38, and her husband had a new addition to their family.
The couple had managed to keep the pregnancy a total secret as they hid in Montana with their 5-year-old son, Silas, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The famous couple, who married in 2012, cleverly avoided posting full-body photos of Biel on social media during the later stages of pregnancy to keep the baby a secret.
DeGeneres was apparently among the first outside of the immediate family to hear the news.
“I think we were FaceTiming and you said, ‘Hey, you wanna know a secret?’ then Jessica walked in and you put your hand on her stomach. You said, “I’m having another baby!” », She remembers.
Timberlake – who will perform on President-elect Joe Biden’s inaugural television special on Wednesday – said his son Silas was “super excited” to be an older brother.
“Right now he likes her a lot,” said Timberlake. “Phin can’t walk or chase him yet, so we’ll see what happens.”
