Teenage striker Moise Kean struck again to give Juventus a 2-1 win late against AC Milan after their opponents took the lead and dominated most of Saturday's game.
The 19-year-old, who is said to have suffered racist violence after marking Tuesday in Cagliari, came off the bench to score his fifth goal in five league games, allowing Juve to move closer to his eighth consecutive title in Serie A.
Juve is 21 points ahead of the top and will close the title with seven games to play if Napoli, second in the standings, loses at home against Genoa on Sunday.
Milan, fourth, has taken a point on its last 12 and will be eliminated from the standings if Atalanta, who has one point behind, wins Sunday at Inter Milan.
Juve survived another scare when a center from Hakan Calhanoglu hit Alex Sandro's elbow at close range in the area, but after a VAR overhaul that lasted more than three minutes, the referee decided that it was involuntary.
A few minutes later, Leonardo Bonucci's foul was intercepted by Tiemoue Bakayoko and he gave the ball to Piatek who doubled Wojciech Szczesny for his 21st league goal of the season – eight for Milan and 13 for Genoa.
Juventus made little progress before winning a penalty kick following a clumsy challenge from Mateo Musacchio over Paulo Dybala, who converted the goal shot himself at the hour.
The winner was similar to Milan's goal. Miralem Pjanic, another substitute, intercepted a pass in defense and found Kean who calmly placed his shot beyond Pepe Reina six minutes from the end.
