Vice President-elect Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff toured the newly opened and socially remote open-air market in downtown DC with Mayor Muriel Bowser just after noon.

According to reports from the media pool, Harris and Emhoff spent about 25 minutes touring the market stalls and purchasing New York Puzzle Company jigsaw puzzles and a print of different types of cheese from Marcella Kriebel Art and Illustration.

Harris said she and Biden had met with a range of people – “from union leaders to Fortune 500 business leaders” in an effort to prepare for the transition.

She also burst out laughing when asked about Trump’s potential to run for president again in four years.
