According to reports, Kamrin Moore was arrested for hitting an unconscious woman and trampling her neck during a violent domestic dispute.
"New York Giants safety Kamrin Moore was arrested this weekend in Linden, New Jersey, for a suspected domestic violence incident. Moore was suspended by the team in the expectation of further investigation, the team tweeted on Monday.
Moore, 22, has reportedly been in trouble with the woman he had been dating since January, outside his home in Linden, according to NJ Advance Media.
The unidentified victim was competing for Moore's attention with another woman when the 200-pound security became physical. He was charged with aggravated third degree assault, the point of sale reported.
A 2016 league policy suspends players involved in domestic violence incidents for six games for a first offense and potentially for life during subsequent offenses.
