WWE hit Knoxville for Friday night SmackDown this week. Since this is Bianca Belair’s hometown, the promotion has taken place and has a celebration reserved for her. That celebration included none other than Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, who we all know and love as Kane, making his return to hand him a key to the county.
The fans in the arena absolutely ate this. Belair led them in singing a local song and it was a great moment for everyone involved, including his family, who were there in the front row for it all.
Then that damn Becky Lynch came along.
She hit the stage to rub a little salt into Bianca’s wounds, to taunt her, to pretend she was looking to be the bigger person by shaking her hand and saying “it’s your night”, even though SummerSlam was Becky’s night and Extreme Rules be too. Bianca shook hands with her, then attempted a stroke and Lynch got the better of her.
Too bad for this celebration!
