Kanye arrives nearly two hours late for ‘Donda’ listening party, then says nothing

More than 40,000 people crowded into Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium Thursday night to watch Kanye West release his 10th studio album. After waiting nearly two hours past the scheduled start time, Kanye finally appeared on the pitch and then said absolutely nothing because Donda played extremely loud on the stadium speakers for 48 minutes. According to United States today, Kanye “sometimes paced in a circle, sometimes trotted a few steps”, however the the Wall Street newspaper noted a few other actions: “For much of the night, Mr. West sat relatively still on top of a white tarp in the room, although at times he knelt and danced on top of others.” Smoke machines were emitting a haze during the event, leaving West difficult to distinguish from the nosebleed seats. Some fans have ridiculed a snack menu spotted at the stadium that listed sweet and savory kettle corn for $ 35, kosher beef francs for $ 40, and chicken fillets for $ 50. Donda is expected to be released sometime on Friday.
