Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren’t speaking after their divorce – after the rapper changed all of his phone numbers and told him she could only contact him through his security.
A source exclusively told Page Six that Kanye, 43, abruptly cut himself off from Kim, 40, even before they filed for a divorce.
But despite the animosity, the source added that the couple continue to co-parent their children and that Kanye regularly visits them at home while Kim is away.
The source said: “Even before Kim filed for a divorce, Kanye changed his numbers and said, ‘You can contact me through my security.’
“Despite this, she trusts him for children. He loves them and sees a lot of them.
“She leaves the house and he comes in and hangs out with the kids. They have an army of nannies so the transition is easy.
It has been reported that Kim would never prevent Kanye from having a relationship with their children, but that she should not be there when he visits, at his request.
Page Six has exclusively revealed that KimYe is getting a divorce in January. After intense mediation, Kim filed for divorce on February 19.
The couple had fought for their sprawling Hidden Hills property during their divorce, but Kim was allowed to keep the property as their primary residence for their children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3; and the Holy Son, 5, and Psalm, 1.
The source added, “Kim owns all of the land around the house, but Kanye bought the house himself and then they shared the cost of the renovations. Kim fought to keep the place because it’s their children’s home, and she won.
“Kanye of course has his ranch in Wyoming, but he’s recently recorded and worked in Los Angeles, so he’s a regular visit to the kids. But she doesn’t commute between the kids and Wyoming. “
Also, the source added, sharing their finances during the divorce was easy due to their prenup: “It was an easy case of ‘You keep your money and I will keep mine.'”
Kim’s reps did not respond to us, and a rep for Kanye declined to comment.
