Kanye West’s words continue to raise eyebrows.
In his new song “Hurricane”, which features on his recently released tenth studio album Donda, the 44-year-old rapper is apparently hinting that he cheated on his ex-wife Kim Kardashian West after welcoming their first two children together.
“Here I am going to play too rich / Here I am going with a new chick / And I know what the truth is / I always play after two children / It’s a lot to digest when your life is always on the move”, he on the track.
Source tells PEOPLE the lyrics are “in a certain way [Kanye’s] testimony of all he did wrong, his apologies and his responsibility. “
A representative for West did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.
In the lyrics, West also appears to refer to the California mansion he once shared with 40-year-old Kardashian West, which was featured in an issue of Architectural summary Last year.

“Hurricane” isn’t the only track from West’s new album that seems to refer to Kardashian West.
In “Lord I Need You”, West seems to allude to the keeping up with the Kardashians alum and how she made appearances to her Donda listening evenings with their children: daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, plus sons Saint, 5 and a half, and Psalm, 2.
“Time and space are a luxury / But you came here to show that you are still in love with me”, he recalls.
West and Kardashian West started dating in 2012 and tied the knot in May 2014. In February, Kardashian West filed for divorce from the performer after the couple went through a tumultuous year together which included West’s unsuccessful presidential bid. .

An insider recently told PEOPLE that although the founder of SKIMS has publicly supported West on her listening evenings, including appearing in a recreation of their marriage in 2014, she continues to move forward with the divorce. .
“They have come a long way since Kim filed for divorce,” a source said of the former couple. “It took them months to get to this. Kim is happy that they are getting along and things are going amicably.”

The insider added that the couple’s focus has shifted from their personal issues to their children.
“Children will always be her number one priority. She wants to have a friendly relationship with Kanye because it benefits the children,” the source said.
“Filing for a divorce has always been the hardest decision for Kim. She only filed because they had issues they couldn’t resolve. However, she will always love Kanye,” the insider said, adding: “For the moment, she is not calling [the divorce] off however. “
