Kanye West compares life with ex-wife Kim Kardashian to prison in new song, report says

After performing a song about his divorce from Kim Kardashian, Kanye West started crying on stage during a listening party in Las Vegas for his new album, Donda, The sun reports. The song “Welcome to My Life” is said to have lyrics about West’s marriage breakdown, his Twitter debacles and his failed presidential campaign. West compares his Calabasas home with Kardashian to prison, saying, “Tell the killers I escaped Calabasas” in the trail, according to The sun. A source at the party told the newspaper the song was a “very deep” reflection on her marriage to Kardashian. “He talks about the kids and mentions that she takes everything. After playing this song, he stopped for about two minutes and cried, ”the source said. The sun. West’s tenth album, due for release Friday, is named after his mother, Donda West, who died in 2007. Her death reportedly forced West into a “deep depression.” West and Kardashian married in Italy in 2014 and had four children together: North, Chicago, Saint and Psalm. Kardashian filed for divorce in February, citing irreconcilable differences.
