As we previously reported, random things keep happening around Kanye West Donda release of the album, and a new event took place.

Monday (August 9), Kaycyy, a rapper who works closely with ‘Ye on the Donda project, jumped on his Twitter account to announce that he and Kanye – and probably many others – are moving to another stadium to complete the recording of the album.

“We are moving to another stadium,” he wrote in a now deleted tweet. You can see it at the bottom of this article.

So what does this mean for the Donda album release? No one knows yet.

Over the past few weeks, Kanye, along with his longtime production and engineering collaborator Mike Dean, has been working on his new album at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The Chicago rapper-producer even created a makeshift room in the 70,000-seat facility just to record the LP. Additionally, Kanye presented two listening events for Donda: one on July 22 and the other on August 5. Aside from one crazed fan who rushed onto the stage, the two events largely went uninterrupted.

As for other ATL zone stadiums that Kanye could move to, there’s State Farm Arena, Truist Park which is an outdoor arena, Russ Chandler Stadium and many more. However, he can change stadium in a completely different city.

Although the Donda The album was originally slated for release on July 23, and again on August 6, it looks like the LP is still in development. The album’s pre-order page on iTunes now lists a new release date of August 15.

Additionally, the song “Hurricane” with The Weeknd and Lil Baby, is featured as track 2 of the project. According to a report on Hypebeast, released on Sunday (August 8), the song is available on select international streaming services, such as Line Music in Japan and Yandex in Russia.

We’ll have to wait and see what Kanye West does next regarding his Donda album.
