Kanye West has been spotted for the first time since announcing his split from Kim Kardashian.
The 43-year-old rapper was pictured arriving on a private jet at Los Angeles Van Nuys Airport on Sunday from his ranch in Cody, Wyo, where he locked himself up.
West, who looked serious as he got off the plane, was accompanied by members of his team. The fashion designer wore his Yeezy Foam Runners for the flight, along with distressed leather pants and a mustard hoodie.
Page Six exclusively revealed earlier this month that Kardashian, 40, and West are headed for divorce after nearly seven years of marriage. Received by proxy divorce attorney Laura Wasser, Kardashian hopes to reach a settlement before formally filing a case in court so that she and West can sort out their finances and how to divide their properties.
Although “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” ends in 2021, a source previously told Page Six the E! the reality series will be released “with a bang,” with the couple’s marital woes as the main plot point in the show’s final season.
“They filmed Kim discussing her marriage issues,” the source said. “But everyone involved is on a nondisclosure agreement, as the finale won’t air until later in 2021.”
A separate source tells us that West is okay with the split.
“He understands that Kim’s side has to revolve around that she’s had enough of him. In reality, he’s sick of being involved with [the] Kardashians for a long time, ”said an insider. “Especially his mother [Kris Jenner], which occupies an important place in all the major decisions it makes.
West and Kardashian are the parents of four children: 7-year-old daughter North, 5-year-old son Saint, 3-year-old daughter Chicago, and 1-year-old son Psalm.
