While West’s sanity is a fair concern, Kardashian would be comfortable sharing custody because she knows the multi-hyphen is a good dad and “totally trusts him” with their children, a source told TMZ.
In addition to trusting him as a father, TMZ also reports that West is very rarely alone with his children, with guardians and family members ready to take care of the brood at all times. Sources added that the Chicago native was generally not near his children during a bipolar episode.
Last year, Kardashian stood up for West after the rapper blasted her mom and mom Kris Jenner online in a series of Twitter rants.
“As many of you know, Kanye suffers from bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does it knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand, ”she wrote at the time.
“She is a brilliant but complicated person who, in addition to the pressure of being an artist and a black man, who has lived through the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation exacerbated by his bipolar disorder. Those close to Kanye know his heart and understand his words do not match his intentions.
