It seems like Kim Kardashian West has revealed that her husband Kanye West will release a new album next month. The disc seems to be calling Jesus is king and this should happen on September 27th. Check out the tweet below. The tracklist includes "Water", a song that Kanye performed at Coachella Sunday Service earlier this year. Pitchfork has contacted Kanye West representatives for more information.
Last year, Kanye West released his eighth solo album you. He also collaborated with Kid Cudi for CHILDREN SEE GHOSTS and produced albums for PUSHA-T, Nas and Teyana Taylor.
In September 2018, West announced the release of an album entitled Yandhi that same month. The release date was subsequently delayed and postponed indefinitely.
In early 2019, West began conducting choirs in "Sunday Service" gospel performances. The events included gospel interpretations of Western classics, as well as church covers and staples. In April, West organized a "Sunday service" at Coachella. Since then, he has organized "Sunday services" for Mother's Day and commemorates the victims of the Dayton shootings.
