Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles were seen grimly on Monday – the day after rogue parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry roasted the royals in a bombshell TV shoot.
Dark-faced Middleton – whom Markle accused on the special of making her cry – was pictured being driven to Kensington Palace in London in the morning.
Markle had told interviewer Oprah Winfrey in the chat that aired in the US on Sunday how Middleton, the wife of Harry’s brother Prince William, “made me cry, and it really hurt” during the show. ‘some sort of dispute over the Duchess of Sussex’s flower-girl dresses before her marriage to Harry.
Markle said Middleton later apologized, “and I forgave him.”
In other images released on Monday, biracial Markle said it was outrageous that the scrutiny Kate faced as she dated William had been compared to the racism she suffered, as she said some members of the royal family had suggested it.
“Rude is not racist,” Markle told Winfrey.
As for Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, she remained unsmiling with a distant look in her eyes as she was driven into central London on Monday.
She had to put up with stepson Harry telling Winfrey that her father and husband Prince Charles are “trapped” in her royal life. Harry said he was sorry for his father and brother.
Harry also claimed his father stopped taking his calls after he and Markle split from the royal family.
“I feel really disappointed,” Harry said to Winfrey.
Still, “of course I will always love him,” the prince said of his father.
Charles was “in a state of desperation” during the interview, even though Harry had previously emailed his father to try to explain why the couple did, Vanity Fair reported.
