Katharine McPhee will now sing lullabies to her new bundle of joy.
The 36-year-old artist welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband David Foster, 71, his representative confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday.
“Mum, dad and son are all doing wonderfully,” her rep told People in a statement.
McPhee, who has been married to Foster since June 2019, first fueled pregnancy speculation in October, when the ex-“American Idol” was pictured showing off her plump stomach. Sources later confirmed the pregnancy to People.
A Grammy winner, Foster has five adult daughters from previous relationships: Amy, Erin, Sara, Jordan and Allison.
Foster and McPhee were first linked in 2017 and made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala a year later. In July 2018, the couple got engaged while vacationing on the Italian island of Capri.
“He did it on top of that mountain in Anacapri,” McPhee said on Instagram at the time.
“Totally dark stars. Luckily, he didn’t push me off the cliff. He said it was one of the others and in the end he spared me, ”she continued.
McPhee was previously married to Nick Cokas, this being Foster’s fifth marriage. He was previously married to BJ Cook, Rebecca Dyer, Linda Thompson and most recently Yolanda Hadid. The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star filed for divorce in January 2016.
A McPhee representative did not immediately return our request for comment.
