Katherine Schwarzenegger has spoken candidly about motherhood in a new interview.

The author, 30, spoke to WWE stars and new battling postpartum depression moms Nikki and Brie Bella on Instagram Thursday.

Schwarzenegger gave birth to her first child, a girl named Lyla Maria, in August, with her husband Chris Pratt.

“You definitely have days where it’s harder some days than other days, and then you have things about feeling bad with a partner, or wanting to get everything back in order,” she explained to the Bella twins. . “It’s really difficult.”

Nikki and Brie gave birth to sons, Matteo and Buddy, one day apart on July 31 and August 1.

Brie revealed that she suffered from postpartum depression three years ago after giving birth to her daughter Birdie.

“I think with Birdie – and maybe it was with being a new mom – I think what happened is you got that FOMO of your old man – who you was before your pregnancy, who you were before your child came into your life. Would I be sitting there breastfeeding or just too tired, thinking that I would someday be that person again? Is this life coming back? I miss this life, ”she says.

Nikki agreed and added that when her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev left to film “Dancing With the Stars”, she felt isolated.

“I was like oh my God I can’t do this on my own, why did I say I can do it on my own, but now I have to stand together and keep my mouth shut and not be negative”, she conceded.

In fact, to cope with the postpartum period, Nikki said she hired a life coach.

Schwarzenegger previously said her doctor told her that due to the pandemic she has seen many more women struggling with depression and anxiety during and after pregnancy.

“I did [my postpartum depression screening], and I was talking to my doctor and she was telling me that she had never seen such levels of postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety in her patients and just overall for people who are pregnant and recently had a baby during this COVID period, ”she explained. “I found it to be really interesting and, of course, logical because everyone has different feelings right now whether you’ve had a baby or not.
