Katie Holmes made her relationship with Emilio Vitolo official on Instagram, after re-sharing a photo of herself with her new boyfriend celebrating her recent 42nd birthday.
The actress can be seen laughing as she sits on Vitolo’s lap in the black and white photo, which Vitolo, 33, had previously shared on his account.
The son of Italian-born chef Emilio Vitolo Sr. also declared his love for Holmes in the caption, writing: “The most amazing, kindest and most beautiful person. Every time I see your face, this makes me smile. Happy birthday !!! I love you !! ”

Vitolo grew up working at his father’s famous New York restaurant, Ballato, and now runs the popular restaurant with his two brothers.
The couple have been pictured together in New York on several occasions, but have not commented on their relationship so far. Holmes was pictured kissing Vitolo on a bench in New York City and having lunch with him and his father, Vitolo Sr., at the family restaurant.
Meanwhile, Vitolo is pretty comfortable among the A-listers. His restaurant is popular with celebrities such as Lenny Kravitz, Joe Jonas and Rihanna, and the Italian and Peruvian chef has also dipped his feet into the world of theater. He has appeared in such series as royal pains and Inside Amy Schumer, and will star alongside Ewan McGregor and Val Kilmer in the upcoming film Birthday cake.
Meanwhile, Holmes was previously in a relationship with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx. She was married to Tom Cruise, with whom she has 14-year-old daughter Suri Cruise.
