Looks like Lane Kiffin is on the hook for some corn dogs.
Coach Ole Miss is living his best life this week.
Just days after having fun with the Big Ten officials in the Rebels’ first-season win over Louisville, and then delivering a playful jab to LSU’s Ed Orgeron, Kiffin has another fan hopping onto the Lane Train. .
Singer Katy Perry responded to Kiffin’s tweet on Thursday and backed Ole Miss Corral’s quarterback Heisman Trophy campaign in the process.
Perry is an honorary member of the college football tradition thanks to his visit to Oxford in 2014 and his appearance at ESPN’s “College GameDay” before the Alabama-Ole Miss game. Perry shot LSU by bringing in Corn Dogs for the LSU-Auburn Match Pick.
Perry’s Heisman choice started quickly. Corral finished 22 of 32 for 381 yards in the 43-24 win.
